Radical has introduced a series of upgrades for its 2025 race cars, offering buyers the opportunity to secure these vehicles at 2024 prices. The SR XXR model range benefits from several new features that enhance safety, reliability, and performance.
A bespoke Daytona Green SR10 XXR showcases these MY25 upgrades, with matching green accents highlighting the car’s customizable nature. While the color choice is a matter of personal preference, these race cars are bound to stand out regardless. Interestingly, the Daytona Green hue bears a resemblance to Sauber’s F1 cars this year.
In terms of safety, Radical has introduced new seating options for the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR. A new in-house designed carbon fiber single seat with an integrated wrap-around headrest offers enhanced strength, weight reduction, and versatility. For those preferring a twin seat configuration, occupant safety has been improved with Kevlar inserts, stronger seat mounts, and upgraded harnesses.
The harnesses, available in four color options, provide increased comfort and personalization. Customization options extend beyond the harnesses to include painted lightweight Braid wheels that match the body color. Additionally, custom liveries can be applied at the factory.
Reliability has been addressed with a redesigned bellhousing, constructed using simulated stress tests to reduce the risk of cracking. The carbon fiber front splitter, now manufactured using new techniques and aerospace-grade epoxy resin, further enhances durability.
The SR10 XXR has undergone subtle refinements to enhance its performance. The sidepods have been tweaked, shifting the balance slightly towards the front axle at high speeds, reducing understeer and tire wear. The steering ratio has been adjusted to lighten the effort required, mitigating driver fatigue.
Under the hood, the Ford EcoBoost 2.3 liter engine continues to deliver 425 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Once you’ve selected your desired configuration, your customized SR10 XXR will undergo a photo shoot before being delivered to your doorstep.
