Batmobile Official Recreation on Sale Fitted With 6.2 liter LS3 V8 Engine

The Batmobile is arguably the most iconic fictional vehicle ever conceived in modern times. Disagree? Feel free to let us know—we’re all ears.

Originating in comic books, the Batmobile has been brought to life by masterful engineers and production designers for live-action films. And now, for the first time ever, you can actually buy one that’s not just a film prop.

In an unexpected collaboration, Warner Bros Discovery has partnered with Relevance International and Action Vehicle Engineering to create a limited-edition series of full-scale, real “Tumbler” Batmobiles available for purchase.

Yes, you read that right. If you’ve dreamed of owning your own Tumbler, your dream might just come true—assuming you have a substantial budget and can live with a major restriction.

Firstly, these vehicles are not street-legal. So unless you’re planning a real-life reenactment of the Batman Begins police chase, a nighttime joyride is off the table.

Secondly, only ten units are being produced, each priced at a hefty $2.99 million. So by the time you’re reading this, they may already be sold out to buyers with much deeper pockets.

That price tag aside, this Tumbler is the real deal. Just like the stunt vehicle from the films, it’s equipped with a General Motors 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 engine, generating 525 hp and 486 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a GM 4L85-E transmission, with manual control possible via paddle shifters.

The Tumbler’s construction includes a steel tube frame with body panels made from Kevlar, carbon fiber, sheet metal, and fiberglass.

True to the movie, this version features flap actuators, a jet “engine” (producing simulated flames), and even a smoke screen delivery system.

These high-tech features likely contribute to the vehicle’s lack of street legality—not to mention, can you spot any turn signals? But that doesn’t make it any less impressive. And yes, it does come in black.

Inside, the Tumbler is designed to mirror the film’s version as closely as possible. Customers, however, have the option to customize the interior, including the choice between left- or right-hand steering. If it were up to us, we’d keep it as authentic as possible.

While there’s no hidden Batpod cycle in the front axle, considering what Action Vehicle Engineering has accomplished with this Tumbler, we’re willing to overlook that.

Now, we’re just hoping other classic Batmobiles get this real-life treatment. Imagine driving the muscle-car Batmobile from The Batman or the iconic 1989 Batmobile? Let’s make it happen!
