Since the beginning of 2024 you – our readers – have been nominating and voting for your favourite personal finance brands.

More than 8,000 of you took the time to have your say and tell us which companies have been impressing you this year. We cannot thank you enough for helping us find the best of the best in the consumer finance market.

On Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 December, after months of nominating and voting, we finally revealed who you had crowned as the overall winners in this year’s Personal Finance Awards.

Our insurance section rewarded the best insurers and comparison sites. Many of you tuned into to watch the winners in the mortgage section too, and it’s no wonder since 2024 has been quite a rollercoaster for homeowners.

Our credit card, loans and retirement section highlighted the providers offering the best credit products and celebrated the best equity release brands plus funeral plan provider.

Finally, we announced the best savings and investment firms and announced who you thought were the best banks and building societies.

For the brands who scooped an award – or even made it to the shortlist – this is a HUGE achievement because the Personal Finance Awards are voted for by the public. It’s an endorsement from happy customers and that is really something to shout about.

If you want to find out who won, you can watch our video presentations. Not only can you find out the winners, but we invited finance experts into our studio to help answer some of your personal finance-related questions.

Want to know how to take out a mortgage or what’s going to happen to mortgage rates in 2025? David Jackson of Prestige Private Finance joins us in the mortgage section to explain more.

If you are wondering whether life insurance is worth the money or which type of insurance can protect you as a homeowner, then David Bourne, director of Bourne Financial Options an appointed representative of Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) Ltd, has some answers in the insurance section.

Meanwhile, Sarah Tinkler of Oak Mortgages also joined us on Day Two to explain how credit reports work and how you can boost your score. Plus, she also offers her top savings tips to help you get into better financial habits in 2025.

The Money Pages and Personal Finance Awards team send their congratulations to each and ever winner and highly commended.

And we send a BIG thank you, once more, to all our readers who took the time to vote. We could not run these awards without you.
