Have you had a great experience with a bank, building society, lender or insurance firm? Perhaps you have been impressed with a savings app or bowled over by a mortgage broker. Maybe you had an insurance claim dealt with smoothly or were the recipient of some outstanding customer service from a bank.

Whatever financial service or product has impressed you in the last year – we want to hear about it.

The Personal Finance Awards is now in its 28th year and continues to celebrate and endorse the very best companies in this sector as voted for by the public.

These are your awards and the winners are chosen via a process based exclusively on nominations and votes by you – our readers.

When you entrust your money with a bank or building society or pay for insurance, financial advice or credit – that’s a pretty big deal.

You want to make the right choice, get the best value and have the confidence that if there’s a problem you will be supported and treated fairly.

What better way to help others find suitable financial solutions than to provide your recommendations. And this is what this stage of the Personal Finance Awards is all about.

    How to nominate

Between now and August you have your chance to submit your nominations.

You will notice there are a number of categories – however, don’t worry, you don’t need to nominate in every single one. Simply choose the categories relevant to you and enter the name of the company you want to recommend.

When the nominations deadline arrives on 24 August, the firms receiving the most nominations in each category will be put into shortlists and these will go out to the vote to find the ultimate winners. These names will be announced in December.

If you feel passionately about a personal finance business, we invite you to tell us about them and let others know. These awards would not exist without your involvement and we are so grateful for every single nomination.
